Our services related to asset protection can be classified into two main groups. One of these is electronic asset protection systems, commonly known as alarm systems, while another is video surveillance systems (CCTV).
Alarm system
I won't tell you a secret that systems operating as closed systems according to the previous philosophy of asset protection, cut off from other services and access, have recently been diverted in the direction of IT, even if only in partial solutions.
A good example of this is the Internet availability of alarm centers and the preparation of monitoring systems for the use of the IP protocol. There are already solutions such as connecting to the asterisk IP telephone exchange mentioned in Telecommunications.
The most modern devices and sensors are suitable for extending shell protection to the outside, even with special laser scanner solutions. In this way, the first line of protection can be installed in the line of the fence and property boundary with much safer, more trouble-free solutions in addition to the previous fence and step protection devices.
We can recommend the most modern DSC and Paradox tools , of course, together with the products of many other manufacturers, in each case depending on the technical solution.
In addition to the previous exclusively wired solutions, as well as their wireless expansion units and sensors, modern complete wireless centers have appeared in recent years, which significantly facilitate installation and operation at an affordable price.
Video surveillance system (CCTV)
Who would have thought before that the technical development of asset protection would shift towards IT solutions in recent times? But this is the reality. The development of video surveillance systems has been moving towards Internet Protocol (IP) cameras and devices for many years. The tape recorders and analog cameras of the heroic era are dying out. Of course, the latter do not need to be buried yet, but their market share in the world - although not yet in our country - is now noticeably decreasing.
The most important reasons for this include IP cameras' better immunity to interference, easier installation, image quality that does not change as the distance increases, power supply via the IT network (PoE) and the possibility of protecting the cameras against network failure.
The task of recording camera images has been taken over by digital recorders instead of the old tape solutions for years. These are actually computers, in many cases specifically servers.
With the spread of IP cameras, the analog-to-digital converters used in them are slowly wearing out, there is no need to convert the analog cameras or their images into the format required for the operation of the digital recorder, IP cameras provide that directly. The operation of the entire system becomes simpler.
We can offer such solutions to our customers, from wireless solutions covering outdoor industrial sites (CamiBOX), to solutions serving indoor, office use even as a complement to the asset protection systems of shops, and even for the outdoor and indoor protection of family houses. In all cases, we can recommend the most modern devices, Axis and Vivotek IP cameras, from the open source recording software ZoneMinder to various paid solutions (netavis, Luxriot).
